Waivers clear Wednesday at 5 PM ET

Dallas currently has a full 15 standard contracts but also an open two-way roster spot after its recent release of John Via @TheSteinLine on X

What happened: Dallas holds 15 standard contracts and one open two-way slot after waiving John Poulakidas on Oct. 17. Walter Clayton Jr. must clear waivers by Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET before signing.

Why it matters: Dusty May previously recruited Clayton in college, giving Dallas a familiarity edge. The open two-way slot lets Dallas add backcourt depth without moving a standard deal.

What to watch: Watch whether Clayton clears waivers Wednesday and whether Dallas fills the two-way slot before opening night.
