What happened: New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye addressed a critical end zone interception thrown on a pass intended for tight end Eli Raridon during regular season action. Earlier in the game, Maye connected with Raridon for a late second quarter touchdown before the subsequent takeaway halted another scoring opportunity.

Why it matters: Raridon has already established himself as a reliable goal line option in 2026 after capping a flea flicker drive with a 2 yard touchdown catch on September 10. Accepting an occasional contested turnover in the end zone is a necessary tradeoff when developing a go-to tight end target over the course of the regular season.
