What happened: Maye holds a 20-completion cushion atop PFF's leaderboard for completions of 15 or more yards across the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Matthew Stafford sits third with 151 downfield completions, while Josh Allen (148) and Jared Goff (141) complete the top five.

Why it matters: The downfield volume builds on a stretch in which Maye logged eight turnover-free big-time throws over a two-week span. Just 11 completions separate second-place Lawrence from fifth-place Goff, illustrating how tightly bunched the rest of the league's vertical passers remain behind the leader.

By the numbers: Per ESPN, across 17 games in 2025, Stafford passed for 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns (388-of-597), Goff posted 4,564 yards and 34 touchdowns (393-of-578), Maye recorded 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns (354-of-492), and Lawrence finished with 4,007 yards and 29 touchdowns (341-of-560).

What to watch: All five quarterbacks continue 2026 regular-season play ahead of the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline.
