What happened: Drake Powell is set for more summer league action Sunday after playing 24 minutes in Saturday's 79-76 loss. He finished with four points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Why it matters: The summer schedule gives Powell another opportunity to strengthen his case for a larger role in the upcoming 2026-27 season. His rebounding stood out in the opener, but his shooting remains an area to monitor.

By the numbers: Powell shot 0-for-9 from the field and 0-for-5 from three Saturday. He averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 63 regular-season appearances in 2025-26.

What to watch: Watch Powell's shot selection and offensive efficiency in Sunday's game.
