What happened: The Atlanta Dream host the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday, July 4, with tip-off set for 1:00 PM at Gateway Center Arena. The game airs nationally on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Golden State leads the season series 2-0 entering the matchup.

Why it matters: Atlanta comes in at 13-9 but has dropped four straight, while Golden State sits at 14-7 and has taken both prior meetings between the teams this season. Atlanta is scoring 87.0 points per game while allowing 83.4; Golden State is scoring 82.5 and allowing 77.8. Atlanta's biggest win of the season came June 6, a 109-77 rout of Washington.

What to watch: Tip-off comes at 1:00 PM on CBS and Paramount+. The game headlines Saturday's WNBA slate, with Wings-Tempo to follow.
