What happened: The Hall of Fame quarterback joined the network's desk ahead of the scheduled matchup between the New York Jets and Chicago Bears. Brees appeared alongside the studio analysts prior to kickoff.

Why it matters: The pregame appearance precedes a contest where the Bears will rely on their backup quarterback. The Jets arrive short-handed after New York ruled out Breece Hall earlier in the week.

What to watch: The game will kick off following the conclusion of the pregame show.
