What happened: Infield defense backed Drew Rasmussen through five shutout frames as Taylor Walls converted the third out to close the fifth inning.

Why it matters: Rasmussen, who carried a no-hitter through six innings and generated 10 whiffs over three scoreless frames on Oct. 4, continues to limit traffic in October.

What to watch: Rasmussen's pitch count entering the sixth inning will dictate when the bullpen takes over for the late frames.
