What happened: Duke women's basketball will no longer face North Texas in San Antonio as originally scheduled. The Blue Devils have instead scheduled Florida Atlantic as their replacement opponent.

Why it matters: The sudden opponent swap alters Duke's non-conference slate and strength-of-schedule profile ahead of Atlantic Coast Conference play. For Florida Atlantic, the matchup offers a high-major test against a marquee opponent.

What to watch: Duke and Florida Atlantic will finalize game details and tipoff logistics for the rescheduled non-conference contest.
