What happened: Dusty May shared the detail when asked about the new guard. Jack serves on the Dallas staff. Clayton joined Dallas as a newly signed addition.

Why it matters: The prior roommate tie gives Dallas a built-in bridge for a newcomer. May is setting locker-room connections early in his tenure.

What to watch: Watch when Clayton joins on-court work with Dallas. That scheduled game has not started yet.
