What happened: Jason McCourty urged Philadelphia to find reasons to smile and stack small wins. The comments followed a fifth consecutive defeat for the Eagles.

Why it matters: A 2-4 start left little margin before the skid reached five. Continued losses tighten postseason positioning and force roster decisions before the deadline.

What to watch: Philadelphia turns to its next game looking to end the slide.
