What happened: The Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries will contest Game 6 at the 17,000-seat Atlanta venue ahead of the Hawks' 8:00 p.m. ET game. Because of the doubleheader schedule, whichever club claims the WNBA Finals title on Thursday may not have time for a full on-court celebration, per Ramona Shelburne.

Why it matters: The series between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries is tied 2-2. Locking in the afternoon slot resolves ongoing talks over the Game 6 date and venue while fitting both leagues into the shared arena on the same day.

What to watch: State Farm Arena crews will have to convert the floor between the daytime WNBA Finals contest and the NBA matchup that night.
