What happened: Philadelphia's longtime core of Lane Johnson, Brandon Graham, Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox has closed. Johnson's retirement caps the group after Brandon Graham retired again after 16 Eagles seasons. Kelce and Cox previously ended long tenures in Philadelphia.

Why it matters: The departures remove four multi-year starters from both lines and the locker room. Philadelphia now moves forward without the tackles, center and edge presence that anchored two championship teams. Succession at right tackle and along the defensive front shapes the 2026 roster.

What to watch: Watch Philadelphia's plans at right tackle and edge rotation. Early-season line play will show how the transition holds.
