What happened: Veteran wide receiver James Proche II is taking part in Eagles minicamp this week on a tryout basis, per Mike Garafolo. The former Ravens draft pick is attempting to earn a spot on Philadelphia's offseason roster. He spent last season with the Titans.

Why it matters: Tryout invitations are how depth and special-teams competition take shape during the offseason, with no contract guaranteed. For Proche, it is a chance to stick with a fourth organization and fight for a back-end roster or practice-squad role heading into the 2026 season.

What to watch: Watch whether the Eagles convert the tryout into a signing before camp, or let the look end without a deal.
