What happened: Philadelphia’s four claims topped seven teams with multiple players picked up after the initial roster cutdown. Kansas City had three, while San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Carolina and Indianapolis each had two.

Why it matters: Waiver-claim totals are often viewed by personnel departments as a measure of roster depth. The seven teams accounted for at least 17 claims in the initial post-cutdown cycle.

By the numbers: The Eagles accounted for 4 of the 17 listed claims (23.5%). Philadelphia and Kansas City combined for 7 claims, or 41.2% of the total.

What to watch: Roster moves following the claims will shape the final 53-man groups ahead of the 2026 season.
