What happened: Philadelphia faces the remainder of 2026 without its starting quarterback. Jalen Hurts is reportedly done for the year. Saquon Barkley and Devonta Smith remain central to what Philadelphia does next.

Why it matters: Philadelphia's offense is built around its quarterback, raising the stakes for the closing stretch. Barkley handles the backfield workload while Smith leads the pass catchers. A change under center reshapes both roles.

What to watch: Watch who starts for Philadelphia going forward and how Barkley and Smith are deployed.
