What happened: Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher Jalyx Hunt suffered an injury to his left ankle and knee just before halftime and has been ruled out with his team leading the Jacksonville Jaguars 14-10 in an ongoing game. Hunt refused to take a cart to the locker room but was in visible pain as he was helped inside.

Why it matters: The loss severely thins a Philadelphia defense that was already short-handed. Jonathan Greenard was an inactive game-time decision, and linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. was ejected in the opening seconds, leaving Arnold Ebiketie as one of the few remaining available edge rushers.

By the numbers: Philadelphia entered the contest at 2-5 on the season while allowing 24.4 points per game. Hunt recorded 52 tackles with 6.5 sacks and three interceptions in 17 games during the 2025 season.

What to watch: The Eagles will evaluate the severity of the lower-body injuries after returning from London.
