What happened: The Philadelphia Eagles traded up from No. 25 to Dallas' No. 20 pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. They selected USC wide receiver Makai Lemon. Trade details include Eagles sending picks No. 25, No. 89 and a 2027 fourth-rounder to Dallas.

Why it matters: Eagles address WR depth behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith amid 2025 playoff exit. Lemon's big-play ability boosts Jalen Hurts' options in NFC East arms race. Shortens Philly's Super Bowl odds while Cowboys gain extra mid-round picks for trenches.

By the numbers: Trade: PHI gets No. 20; DAL gets No. 25, No. 89 (3rd), 2027 4th Rd. Lemon 2025 USC stats: 72 rec, 1,098 yds, 9 TD. Eagles 2025 record: 11-6, NFC East champs.

What to watch: Watch Eagles' Day 2 picks for O-line help and Cowboys' selection at new No. 25.
