What happened: Eury Pérez retired all 21 batters he faced through seven innings Sunday. He had not allowed a hit, walk or baserunner.

Why it matters: The bid puts Eury Pérez within six outs of a perfect game. Completing it would require retiring every batter over the final two innings.

What to watch: Pérez must preserve the bid through the eighth and ninth innings. His pitch count and any late baserunners will determine the finish.
