What happened: Evan Bouchard recorded his 26th point through 15 games this season. The milestone marks the highest scoring total by a defenseman over an opening 15-game span in more than three decades.

Why it matters: The milestone follows strong expectations, after Bouchard drew 100-point projections ahead of the regular season. Maintaining this pace would position him among the most productive blueliners in modern league history.

What to watch: Bouchard looks to extend his historic scoring stretch as the regular season schedule continues.
