Falcons have activated offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor off of the active/physically unable to perform list. Via @JamesPalmerTV on X

What happened: Jawaan Taylor opened training camp on active/PUP after working with trainers during June minicamp. Active/PUP rules allowed Atlanta to restore him once he received medical clearance.

Why it matters: Taylor's return adds a veteran option to Atlanta's offensive-line rotation. The Falcons open their three-game preseason schedule Aug. 14.

By the numbers: Taylor spent 13 days on active/PUP, from July 29 through Aug. 11.

What to watch: His workload in team periods will show how quickly he can rejoin the offensive-line rotation.
