Stefanski: Michael Penix is cleared for 11s. He'll practice Monday. #Falcons Via @marcraimondi on X

What happened: Stefanski said Penix will join full-team activities after progressing through individual and 7-on-7 drills. Monday's session will mark his first 11-on-11 work of training camp.

Why it matters: The clearance lets Atlanta fully evaluate Penix in its quarterback competition. It also advances his return from surgery to repair a partially torn ACL.

By the numbers: Penix opened training camp without clearance for 11-on-11 drills, advanced to 7-on-7 work and gained full-team clearance Aug. 22.

What to watch: His workload and participation level during Monday's full-team periods will be the next markers.
