What happened: Atlanta launched team activities in Spain ahead of its Week 9 international fixture in Madrid. The team traveled across the Atlantic to finalize on-site preparations before Sunday's kickoff against Cincinnati.

Why it matters: The Madrid game marks a pivotal overseas test for Atlanta as it tries to keep pace in the NFC playoff picture. Facing a 5-2 Cincinnati squad away from domestic venues presents critical scheme and travel hurdles for both rosters midway through the regular season.

What to watch: The Falcons and Bengals meet Sunday, Nov. 8, in Madrid for their Week 9 matchup.
