What happened: Hall rejoined Atlanta on May 7 after the franchise drafted him in 2021. He moved to reserve/injured during the Falcons’ initial roster cuts on Aug. 30.

Why it matters: Atlanta loses a veteran with 48 career appearances and 12 starts. Hall’s departure further turns the secondary toward players retained on the initial 53-man roster.

By the numbers: Hall has recorded 85 tackles, six passes defended, one sack, one forced fumble and one recovery across four NFL seasons.

What to watch: Hall’s next destination and Atlanta’s response in the secondary bear watching.
