A race of two halves for the Ferrari duo in Sepang 👀 Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc fought back through the pack as Via @F1 on X

What happened: Lewis Hamilton finished third and Charles Leclerc fourth in the Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang. The pair moved through the field as conditions dried after starting on slicks on a wet track. Max Verstappen won from pole ahead of Kimi Antonelli.

Why it matters: The double top-five limits damage after the slick-tire gamble that backfired at the restart. It puts both cars in the top five after qualifying second and fifth. Antonelli splitting the leaders kept Verstappen from a Ferrari-chased 1-2 fight.

By the numbers: P1 Verstappen (from pole), P2 Antonelli (from P4), P3 Hamilton (from P2), P4 Leclerc (from P5), P5 Hadjar (from P3).

What to watch: The field heads to Marina Bay for a sprint weekend under the lights to close the triple-header.
