What happened: Yahoo Sports floated an offseason move for Indiana built around adding an "All-WNBA-caliber" shooter next to Caitlin Clark. The idea surfaced as the Fever shifted from postseason play to roster construction.

Why it matters: The Fever's next decisions now center on spacing and fit around Clark after Indiana's playoff exit shifted roster focus around Caitlin Clark. Even without a reported negotiation or agreement, perimeter shooting is an obvious roster need as the offseason begins.

What to watch: What matters next is whether Indiana's offseason talk turns into a reported pursuit, offer or completed move. Until then, Clark-centered roster building remains the clearest Fever storyline.
