What happened: On Kylie Kelce's “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Caitlin Clark said she generally does not start trash talk but may respond when an opponent addresses her. She said she tries to act as if she cannot hear it.

Why it matters: Clark acknowledged that she needs to do better about how often she speaks to officials. The Indiana Fever guard enters the 2027 offseason after earning All-WNBA First Team honors in 2026.

What to watch: Indiana's 2027 season will be the next opportunity to see whether Clark changes how she addresses officials.
