What happened: Trade discussions for Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor are active and ongoing across five franchises, with the New York Giants joining the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Seattle Seahawks. The Giants entered contention alongside suitors previously weighing a Jonathan Taylor trade as Indianapolis explores potential packages ahead of the deadline.

Why it matters: A potential trade offers immediate offensive firepower to contending backfields in Green Bay and Minnesota, while New York assesses depth following an overtime injury to Cam Skattebo. For Indianapolis, moving Taylor provides premium future draft capital to accelerate an organizational rebuild after a 2-5 start.

What to watch: Indianapolis visits Jacksonville on Sunday, where Taylor's playing status will serve as an indicator of trade momentum before the Nov. 10 deadline.
