What happened: The Calgary Flames opened a promotional contest offering a pair of tickets to their home matchup against the New York Rangers on Nov. 11. The giveaway runs in conjunction with the team's first goal contest sponsored by Direct Energy.

Why it matters: The promotion highlights an early-season non-conference date on Calgary's November calendar. Both clubs continue their regular-season slates as they navigate the opening quarter of the 2026-27 campaign.

What to watch: The Flames and Rangers will meet on Nov. 11 in Calgary.
