What happened: Sandro Mamukelashvili acknowledged Flavor Flav for support during NBA preseason. Flav attended the game and holds a close relationship with the big man. The moment followed Mamukelashvili's baseline reverse slam a night earlier.

Why it matters: Preseason minutes shape frontcourt rotation decisions entering the 2026-27 season. Courtside backing highlights Mamukelashvili's visibility beyond the box score. Continued production would strengthen his case for second-unit minutes.

What to watch: Preseason continues with the opening tripleheader one week away. His role in upcoming dates remains the development to track.
