What happened: Flemings said Landale has been his teammate for every scrimmage over the past week. Daniels has been his defender in those same runs, described as annoying on the ball.

Why it matters: Daily reps against Daniels test his handle against constant on-ball pressure. Early timing with Landale matters after the veteran's one-year, $14 million return.

What to watch: Atlanta heads toward the 2026-27 regular season. The next indicator is whether these scrimmage combinations carry into rotation minutes.
