What happened: Yandy Diaz homered for Tampa Bay in ALCS Game 6. The blast followed his ninth-inning two-run homer in Game 4 and marked another long ball on the night for Tampa Bay.

Why it matters: Tampa Bay entered the late ALCS holding a series lead, putting extra runs at a premium. Added homers in Game 6 shape bullpen use and move Tampa Bay closer to a pennant.

What to watch: The Game 6 result determines whether Tampa Bay advances to the World Series or the ALCS goes to a Game 7.
