What happened: Flowers went off the field before intermission after a dominant opening stretch and did not return to the receiver rotation. Baltimore finished off Indianapolis 41-23. Ja'Kobi Lane also exited with a wrist injury, leaving Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore and Lajohntay Wester to finish the game at wideout.

Why it matters: Flowers had already dealt with a hamstring issue during training camp before returning to full practice for the opener. That turned his exit into a major roster wrinkle even as Baltimore closed out the win.

What to watch: Baltimore's next practice report is the immediate checkpoint for Flowers after the in-game downgrade. Receiver usage also bears watching after Lane's wrist injury thinned the group late.
