What happened: Gabby Williams delivered a 30-point performance on 10-of-23 shooting in Game 7 of the finals. The forward added four three-pointers on eight attempts while anchoring the perimeter defense. Her showing drew immediate league-wide acclaim following the title victory.

Why it matters: Her two-way efficiency and ability to produce thirty points on high-leverage scoring possessions places her in the upper tier of perimeter players. Sustaining high-volume scoring while guarding primary opposing threats is a rare profile across the sport. Few wings in basketball offer that combination of defensive versatility and championship scoring.
