What happened: The stretch has become a defining part of Moreno's breakout 2026 campaign. His production has combined extra-base impact with disciplined plate appearances.

Why it matters: The surge gives the Arizona Diamondbacks sustained offensive production from the catcher position. Moreno's walk-to-strikeout edge shows the run extends beyond batting average.

By the numbers: Moreno is batting .361 with a .929 OPS, eight extra-base hits and 19 RBI during the streak. His 17 walks exceed his 14 strikeouts by three.

What to watch: His next game offers a chance to push the streak to 27.
