What happened: The starting lineup was revised ahead of first pitch for Game 3 of the NLDS. Gavin Sheets moves out of the starting nine with a stiff neck and stays available off the bench.

Why it matters: Losing a starting bat hours before a postseason game forces a reshuffle of the order and defensive alignment. Keeping Sheets dressed preserves a pinch-hit option if the stiffness loosens during the night.

What to watch: Watch whether Sheets is able to pinch-hit tonight and if he returns to the starting nine for the next game.
