What happened: Kansas City waived Kellen Diesch in the corresponding roster move. Joshua Ezeudu brings experience at both guard and tackle.

Why it matters: Kansas City gains veteran offensive-line depth before final roster cuts. New York converts a player facing a roster decision into future draft capital.

By the numbers: Ezeudu has played 33 NFL games with 10 starts. He logged 317 snaps at left guard and 402 at left tackle in New York, then allowed no pressures across 74 snaps this preseason.

What to watch: Kansas City hosts Seattle in Friday's preseason finale. Ezeudu's role will come into focus when the Chiefs set their 53-man roster.
