What happened: The active/NFI designation applies to an ailment originating outside NFL activities. Manu remains on the active roster and can be cleared during training camp.

Why it matters: Manu will lose practice time while competing for a role along the offensive line. His status will require another roster decision if the designation remains in place at the final cutdown.

What to watch: Watch whether Manu returns to practice before the preseason schedule begins.
