I have written multiple times that the Broncos should have moved on from Cooper. Said it again in this column Via @TroyRenck on X

What happened: Cooper became eligible to play again when the NFL removed him from the commissioner's exempt list on Oct. 16.

Why it matters: Cooper has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from two June arrests. His return to eligibility did not end the league's conduct review.

By the numbers: Denver is 5-2 and has won three straight games.

What to watch: The league's conduct review remains the next formal development to follow.
