What happened: Jets coach Glenn discussed Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley ahead of their teams' regular-season meeting. The two previously worked together on Cleveland's coaching staff during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Why it matters: Shared staff history gives both coaches direct familiarity with each other's schemes and methods. Hafley is setting his program in Miami while Glenn does the same in New York, making the connection relevant background for preparation.

What to watch: Both teams continue through the 2026 regular season with game planning and evaluation ahead.
