What happened: Rosasco previously oversaw media relations, organizational announcements and public-relations strategy. His remit also extended to prospective-player recruitment, including communications materials and free-agent visits.

Why it matters: The hire places an executive familiar with public messaging and hockey operations in a senior club role. That crossover can streamline coordination around roster moves and player availability.

What to watch: The club's preseason communications will show how Rosasco's hockey-operations background shapes the role.
