What happened: Isaiah Stewart joined Memphis on Thursday, finalizing a massive six-team trade that was initially agreed upon during the NBA Draft in June.

Why it matters: Stewart provides the roster with valuable physical rim protection behind Zach Edey. He arrives with two years and approximately $30 million remaining on his contract, bolstering the rotation ahead of the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Stewart will integrate into the frontcourt as the team concludes its offseason roster moves.
