What happened: The fourth-year tight end entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2023. He spent this year's training camp and preseason with Miami.

Why it matters: Sims adds tight end depth to Seattle's practice squad. He would need an elevation or an active roster signing to play in a game.

By the numbers: Sims has 11 career catches for 93 yards and one touchdown.

What to watch: Seattle's game-day roster decisions will determine whether Sims is elevated.
