What happened: The Memphis Grizzlies are signing rookie Richie Saunders to a two-way NBA contract. Saunders has been cleared to increase his on-court activities as he continues rehab from a torn ACL suffered in February.

Why it matters: The signing adds backcourt depth for the Memphis Grizzlies as they manage their rotation. A two-way deal allows the franchise to monitor Saunders' development while preserving flexibility on the standard roster.

What to watch: Saunders will continue progressing through basketball activities as Memphis determines a target date for his game return.
