Petey Halpin had just 4 homers in his Major League career! But in the ALCS he's the one who gives the Guardians the lea Via @SportsCenter on X

What happened: Petey Halpin connected in the bottom of the fifth for a two-run homer to flip a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead. The drive was measured at 105 mph with a 26-degree launch angle.

Why it matters: Game 3 swings carry added weight in a best-of-seven series, with the winner gaining control of the middle games. Cleveland manufactured its chance against Tampa Bay pitching before Halpin delivered the go-ahead swing.

By the numbers: Career total before homer: 4 major league homers. Game 3 homer: 2 runs, 385 feet, out in 27 of 30 parks.

What to watch: Cleveland will look to protect the one-run lead through the late innings. First pitch for the next game is Friday at 6:00 PM ET from Progressive Field.
