What happened: David Hamilton and Jake Bauers each made a defensive play from opposite sides of the diamond in Game 1 of the World Series against Tampa Bay. Bauers made his play at first base.

Why it matters: The plays came early in a game that Milwaukee opened with a Christian Yelich RBI triple before the Rays scored their first run. For the same Jake Bauers who called the NLCS title 'the world to the city', the play at first carried his postseason contributions into the Fall Classic.

What to watch: Watch whether the Milwaukee defense holds the Rays in check as Game 1 goes on, with Game 2 next in the series.
