What happened: MLB Network's Jon Morosi shared reflections Sunday from his postgame conversation with NLCS MVP Jake Bauers after the Milwaukee Brewers secured a World Series berth. Bauers credited the statewide support in Milwaukee following the pennant-clinching victory.

Why it matters: Capturing the National League crown sends the franchise to the Fall Classic for the first time in over four decades. Bauers' postseason surge following mental adjustments at the plate turned him into the focal point of the series.

What to watch: Milwaukee awaits the winner of the ALCS, which stands tied at two games apiece.
