What happened: New York Liberty center Han Xu scored her 400th career WNBA point during Monday night's victory over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena. Making her first start of the 2026 season, Han reached the milestone with a second-half bucket to help New York extend its winning streak to five games.

Why it matters: Han's emergence provides critical frontcourt depth for the Liberty, particularly with Jonquel Jones sidelined by illness. The victory keeps New York atop the standings while demonstrating the bench strength of the defending champions as they navigate early-season rotation shifts.

What to watch: The Liberty return home to face the Washington Mystics on Friday, while the Sun look to bounce back against the Indiana Fever.
