What happened: Albert Breer and Conor Orr assessed the New York Giants' turnaround alongside Sunday action spanning from Paris to Seattle. McCarthy stepped into the starting role at Houston following the trade that brought him to New York.

Why it matters: The result builds on Harbaugh's early Giants reset as the wait for McCarthy grew. Settling the quarterback spot gives the coaching staff a steady offensive foundation.

What to watch: New York continues its regular-season slate with McCarthy directing the offense.
