What happened: Cleveland acquired Jared Verse and three draft picks in the Myles Garrett deal. Milwaukee added Tyler Herro, Kel'El Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, four picks and one pick swap for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Why it matters: Both franchises must convert draft capital and young players into replacements for cornerstone stars. The Browns have reached the playoffs only twice during Jimmy Haslam’s ownership.

What to watch: Cleveland’s use of its three picks and Milwaukee’s roles for four incoming players will define the early stages of both rebuilds.
