What happened: Atlanta Hawks will stream local games exclusively on Prime Video. The arrangement No additional fee is required beyond membership.

Why it matters: The deal sets an early precedent for local rights as teams move away from regional sports networks. It ties in-market access to a subscription many households already carry. The structure could draw attention from other teams facing local distribution pressure.

What to watch: The rollout terms and in-market access details will define the launch as the season begins.
